In support of a year long Blue Peter campaign, the website was developed to allow supporters to find their local drop-off point and involve their school.

We utilized features such as Google Maps, mashing-it-up with external client data to supply users with locations of available drop-off points. I was involved as technical lead, specifically developing the Google Maps interface and integrating the site with the BBC servers.

Do Something Different

The DSD website was built to support a new CBBC show, Do Something Different. It's primary purpose was to drive a form of social network that resulted in generating content for the show.

The site allowed children to suggest, pledge and complete their own DSD, aiming toward the goal of achieving 1'000'000 individual submissions. The site also included an accessible HTML version which replicated all the top-level functionality of the Flash application.
