As part of Adidas' 2008 Olympic promotional campaign, we created an interactive installation for the flagship store in Beijing. Based on the principles of the Adidas Mii product, the installation allowed people to examine their physical capabilities through tests performed via a high-tech pressure plate and touchscreen interface.
Working in co-operation with innovative hardware experts, the core application was built in Microsoft Silverlight, using the Expression Blend engine to create an engaging interface and the Microsoft .NET framework to interface with the custom hardware. The installation was such a success that Adidas ordered additional installations for their other flagship stores around the world.
