For the 2008 London Elections, the official political orgranisation London Elects wanted a comprehensive website developed to generate interest and offer official, unbiased information to voters.
Designed and developed alongside the core branding, the website involved a significant volume of production flows during it's 6 month development. From UX testing, to formal (3rd party) accessibility reviews and bespoke CMS customisations. The result was a highly successful political website, engaging a percetange of normally unengaged votes in new ways and offering access to current political information.
Alongside the website, a unique online polling information tool was developed. Allowing voters to view live polling rates during voting, before any other news source had the information available. This was the first system of it's kind used in the UK. I managed the Technical Direction for the entire website project. Including communications with the 3rd party CMS developers.
